Asus X71SL-A1 & X71SL-B2 17" Entertainment Laptops
Looking for a mid-range entertainment laptop? You may be interested in the two new 17″ Asus X71SL entertainment laptops – namely the Asus X71SL-A1 and the Asus X71SL-B2 – which have recently become available in the US.
The Asus X71SL-A1 and the Asus X71SL-B2 come with 17″ 1440 x 900 resolution TFT displays, Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs under the hood – specifically a 2GHz T5800 and 2.26GHz P8400 respectively – and are based on SiS M671DX chipsets, sport 256MB Nvidia GeForce 9300M graphics cards, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 320GB HDDs and come with DVD Super Multi drives.
Additionally both laptops come with integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet LAN and 56K modems, integrated 8-in-1 card readers, fingerprint reader, 1.3 megapixel webcams and sport VGA and HDMI outputs and 4x USB ports.
The Asus X71SL-A1 is now available from $1249 whilst the Asus X71SL-B2 will set you back just shy of $1250.
