Slacker Mobile Radio for Blackberry Storm [Free Download Now Available]

Looking for access to mobile radio whilst out and about? Got a Blackberry Storm Smartphone? Granting access to just under 100 separate Slacker stations and over 10,000 artist stations or ‘nearly unlimited number of the listener’s own custom-created stations’ (isn’t something either unlimited or limited – is their such a thing as ‘nearly unlimited’?), the Slacker Mobile Radio application for the Blackberry Storm is especially interesting as it brings a new Blackberry only feature to the able in allowing users to store whichever stations they want to the Storm’s memory card – hence facilitating the aforementioned ability to listen to Slacker broadcasts even whilst off-line (which, slacker’s press release claims, can reduce battery life consumption by up to five times in comparison to continuous on-line audio streaming).
