Samsung LN-B750 With CFL Backlighting

samsung lcd750

The Samsung LN-B750 bucks the Samsung trend of pushing ahead with LED-backlit TVs. This LCD TV uses Cold Fluorescent Light (CFL) backlighting instead of LED. LEDs offer the advantage of less weight and slimness as well as power saving.

The Samsung LN-B750 comes with a built-in Ethernet connection that gives access to the Samsung Internet@TV platform. Users can access services such as Flickr, Yahoo News, Yahoo Weather, USA Today, YouTube, Showtime, etc through this platform. The TV is Wi-Fi enabled though you need to purchase the adapter. It is compliant with Energy Star 3.0 specifications.

The LN-B750 flaunts a slick one-inch thin profile and a 240Hz refresh rate which is currently the fastest refresh rate commercially available in the market. The high refresh rate facilitates better viewing of fast moving sequences. An interesting feature with this model is the Wide Color Enhancer Pro which enables the TV to match the source color space to that of the HD color space.
