Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD and AVH-P4100DVD

Pioneer displayed two audio/video double DIN head units at the CES in January. The AVH-P3100DVD and AVH-P4100DVD are multimedia AV receivers featuring 5.8-inch and 7-inch screens, respectively. The two models enable iPod connectivity using the CD-IU50V iPod cable.
iPod-related features include Alphabet Search wherein you can search large databases for songs and Link Search, which lets you pick up a random song similar to the one you are currently listening to. You get to enjoy CD-quality sound thanks to technology that restores audio normally lost during digital compression of MP3, WMA and AAC files. You can rewind or fast-forward content with a swipe of your finger on the touchscreen.
The two models enable hands-free communication through the CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Adapter that is used with Bluetooth-enabled phones. The sound is routed through the car speakers and when a call occurs the music is automatically muted. You can connect to various media devices such as CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW via the built-in AUX input. 4 built-in MOSFET 50W amplifiers enhance sound quality.
The AVH-P3100DVD has a suggested retail price of $450.00 while the AVH-P4100DVD retails at $550.00.
