Asus Eee PC 1000HE Netbook Available for Pre-Order [Official Eee PC Facebook Page Exclusive]

Asus have just begun to accept pre-orders for its up and coming 10″ Atom N280 powered Asus Eee PC 1000HE netbook, available in Fine Ebony Black and Blue, exclusively to those who are already members of, or who now subsequently join, its official Asus Eee PC Facebook Group.

The Asus Eee PC 1000HE, which sports a new “chiclet” keyboard design that promises ‘faster and more comfortable typing’, comes complete with Asus’s exclusive Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) technology which can configure the Eee PC 1000HE for optimum processing power or for maximum battery endurance (up to a purported 9.5 hours courtesy of a high-density battery), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n network connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 and 160GB HDD which can be supplemented thanks to up to 10GB of online based, file encrypted storage via Asus’s Eee Online Storage site which is bundled in should you wish to take it.

The Asus Eee PC 1000HE is set to retail for just shy of $400, however, as an incentive for people to pre-order (and join the official Asus Eee PC Facebook Group – which is a pre-requisite at this time) a limited-time $25 is being offered that’ll bring the price of pre-ordered 1000HE’s down to $374 a pop.
