AMEX Digital Intro SR-7 & SW-7 Multimedia Digital Photo Frames

AMEX Digital have unveiled two new multimedia digital photo frames that not only serve as ‘traditional’ digital photo frames with broad multimedia file format support but also offer extended functionalities such as serving as radio controlled alarm clocks, indoor digital thermometers and even offering detailed weather forecasting (specifically in the case of the SW-7).

Both of AMEX Digital’s new multimedia photo frames come with 800 x 480 resolution 7″ TFT displays, offer JPG, AVI, MPEG1/2/4 and MP3 file format support, accept MS, MMC, SD, XD and CF memory cards, as well as offering USB connectivity allowing media to be loaded directly from USB flash drives, and naturally (as befits their multimedia capabilities) come with integrated speakers.

The AMEX Digital SW-7, on and above the features offered by the SR-7, also comes with weather station capabilities and can be hooked up to a total of 5 remote sensors in order to pool temperature and barometric data both inside and out.

The AMEX Digital SR-7 will retail for just shy of $130 whilst the AMEX Digital SW-7 will set you back just short of $140 though at the time of writing there’s no definitive word concerning availability.
