Polk SurroundBar SDA Instant Home Theater

polk-iht

The Polk SurroundBar SDA Instant Home Theater (IHT) is targeted at the mass market and gamers. The SDA IHT features a wireless subwoofer for deep low sounds. The housing less than 32 inches wide and five inches deep contains six drives – four two-and-a-half-inch treated composite bass-midrange drivers and a pair of 13mm polymer dome tweeters.

The Polk Stereo Dimensional Array (SDA) Surround Technology enables you to experience surround sound even without rear and side speakers. You can connect the IHT to the stereo audio output jack of any television. However, connectivity is limited because of a single analog audio input which means you will need an AV receiver for connecting DVD players or a set-top box.

The Polk SDA IHT features -

  • 260 watts of power
  • 31.75 inches long–nearly 11 inches shorter than the original SurroundBar
  • No additional AV receiver required
  • Wireless subwoofer
  • Full front soundstage because of its Front SDA technology
  • Wall mountable
  • A single analog audio input
  • Available in January, $550 list price
