ViewSonic has announced the FuHzion VX2265wm 3D LCD 22-inch widescreen monitor aimed at hardcore gaming addicts. The VX2265wm LCD monitor comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, a first for an LCD monitor according to the company. Usually LCD monitors have a 60Hz refresh rate. A 120Hz frequency reduces motion blur when the monitor displays fast-moving objects.

Coupled with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1680 x 1050 resolution and a 3ms response time which enables digital HD broadcast-quality video, this monitor offers gamers something to look forward to.

NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision glasses and compatible NVIDIA GeForce 8, 9 or 10 series video cards enable the VX2265wm to produce a stereoscopic 3D image. The ViewSonic FuHzion features built-in speakers. A DVI-D dual link interface allows direct connectivity from the computer to the monitor. The FuHzion is retailing for $349. The 3D glasses cost another $199.
