
Having just covered the release of the Lancerlink MPJ-101 Mini Projector it seems fitting to follow on with this portable presentation device, or ‘visualizer’, as AVerMedia refers to it, namely the AVerMedia AVerVision AP-1 which offers portable projection capabilities (once hooked up to a projector) from a device that stows away compactly for ease of relocation – thus making it idea for on the go sales personas as well as educational establishments.

The AVerMedia AVerVision AP-1 comes with a 2 megapixel 1/4” CMOS sensor offering up to 1280 x 960 resolution output paired with 8x digital zoom and apart from being capable of passing images to a projector, allowing documents or items up to A4 size to be projected onto walls and other surfaces, can also be hooked up to allow output directly to a TV or monitor via RCA/VGA connections (at either 800 x 600, 1280 x 690 or 1280 x 960 resolution) and, thanks to an optional 28mm lens adapter can even serve as a rudimentary microscope – making it especially ideal for science lessons.
The AVerMedia AVerVision AP-1 Portable Presentation Device, which measures in at 275 x 114 x 70 when folded and which weighs in at 1.2kg, will set you back for $450.
