Samsung Blu-ray Profile 2.0 Players

In the first week of January Samsung launched two Blu-ray players – the BD-P4600 and BD-P3600. Both players offer excellent networking including wireless plus video and music streaming via Netflix and Pandora. Both players feature slot-loading drives and BD Live 2.0 compatibility plus support for Profile 1.1.
Samsung is projecting BD-P4600 as the slimmest Blu-ray player in the market; it has a width of a mere 1.5″ and it is a wall-mountable unit. It features a piano black design with ruby highlights. An integrated stand allows you to place the player on a table.
The BD-P3600 is a table-top player that stands at a mere 2-inches tall. A deep black casing with charcoal gray highlights gives it a distinctive look.
Other features common to the two players include full HD 1080p Blu-ray playback with DVD upscaling, standard CD playback plus support for JPEG images and DivX videos. BD-P4600 and BD-P3600 come with Touch of Colorâ„¢ (ToCâ„¢) design and touch sensitive controls that offer one-second disc ejection. Functionality and looks have dictated the sleek designs of the two players.
