MSI Wind U100 Netbook Valentine Edition

Love is…A Pink Wind, Apparently

Nothing quite shows just how much you care than giving your partner a shiny new netbook this Valentines – though, perhaps, a pink Samsung SPH-M800 Instinct comes close – and this is apparently especially the case if the netbook in question is pink, has the image of a heart emblazoned on its shell and happens to be this offering from MSI – namely the MSI Wind U100 Netbook Valentine Edition.

Supposedly a limited edition model – though the nature of its limited status appears to be down to just how many people buy it whilst its available as no specific production run is detailed – the MSI Wind U100 Netbook Valentine Edition comes with standard U100 specifications such as a 10” 1024 x 600 display, 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB SATA hard disk, integrated 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth wireless connectivity and will set you back just shy of $430.

Interestingly, MSI is actually giving 15 of these MSI Wind U100 Netbook Valentine Edition netbooks away too – so you may not only get on the right side of your partner this Valentines but you might also end up not paying a dime. Bonus.

From MSI’s press release: ‘Participants simply fill in their contact information and upload a picture of them with their Valentine between now and 2/14/09 on http://www.msimobile.com/Valentine.aspx. MSI will then choose 15 winners at random and announce the winners at the same site on 2/17/09. MSI will also give his and her “My Valentine” 2GB USB Flash Drives to the first 100 participants.’
