iLive Intro New iPhone & iPod Spring Range [iS809B, iS819B, iSP209B, iSP389B & iCP689B]

Whilst full details – as well as decent imagery – concerning all of the new iPod and iPhone docks announced by iLive are, certainty at the time of writing, about as scant as the possibility of me falling back, once again, on the term ‘billed’ plainly isn’t, the fact that they have offered an insight as to what we can expect from them over the course of the next few months in terms of iPod and iPhone docking stations – namely the iS809B, iS819B, iSP209B, iSP389B & iCP689B – is, we deemed, certainly worth a brief heads up.

We’ll begin with the new iLive iS809B and iS819B docks, if we may – primarily as we do have decent imagery of these new iLive docks. Billed (there, told you) as being fully featured systems for the home and office, the iLive iS809B and iS819B docking stations sport 2.4GHz wireless speakers and come with built-in AM/FM tuners and clocks (making them ideal for bedroom use as alarm clocks) and can operate on either AC mains or battery power with each retailing for just shy of $130 and $150 (iLive iS809B and iS819B respectively).

In terms of new iLive iPhone docking stations, the iSP209B is billed as being a small portable iPhone speaker dock, the iSP389B as a combined iPhone speaker dock and tabletop clock whilst the iLive iSP809B comes with integrated HD radio and offers iTunes tagging – like the iSP389B, both other units also come with integrated clocks whilst all iLive’s new iPhone docks come with remotes.
Finally the iLive iCP689B is, in essence, a docking clock radio with auto time setting, a ‘dynamic audio system’, an AM/FM radio with twenty presets and dual alarm.
With respect to unit pricing, the iLive iS809B and iS819B docks will set you back around $$130 and $150 whilst the iSP209B will come in at around $80, the iSP389B at just shy of $100 and the iSP809B at $150 with the iLive iCP689B clock radio dock following up the rear at just short of $100.
Expect more details and, hopefully full specs and features, the moment we get them.
