Greenhouse Kana Micro USB Dongle DAP

Greenhouse of Japan have introduced a new, and decidedly tiny DAP known as the Kana Micro that measures in at a mere 20 x 10.5 x 20mm and which will even accept microSD memory cards – a 2GB card being included – though this post’s title concerning ‘supreme endurance’ was, it must be said, just a little tongue in cheek as the Greenhouse Kana Micro will offer up a mere two hours of playback on a full charge (hardly surprising given the size).
Available in a range of seven colors and offering MP3 and WMA file format compatibility, the Kana Micro DAP can also be utilised as a standard USB flash drive for storing documents and/or imagery and has been designed specifically to serve as a cell phone strap (to be attached to your cell phone – cell phone straps are huge in Japan) as well as potential promotional material (with a company’s logo emblazoned on the front).

Billed by Greenhouse themselves as being a novelty item, the Greenhouse Kana Micro USB Dongle DAP is now retailing for ¥1,480 each – which equates to around $16/€13/£11 as at the time of writing).
The Greenhouse Kana Micro USB Dongle DAP offers MP3 and WMA compatibility, comes with a 2GB microSD card, can serve as a standard flash drive and falls into the cell phone strap category.
