Smartfish Pro:Motion Ergonomic Adaptive Keyboard

Anti RSI, Carpal Tunnel

On the whole it has to be said that keyboards designed specifically to reduce the risks of succumbing to RSI or injuries such as carpal tunnel (something I’ve suffered from and its extremely unpleasant and annoying if you make your living at a keyboard) are, in the main, fairly aesthetically cumbersome beasts. But such cannot be said of the new Smartfish Pro:Motion Ergonomic Keyboard with its fluid lines and seductive contours. But there’s more to this ergonomic keyboard that meets the eye.

Designed, according to Smartfish, in collaboration with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York (‘the #1 rated Orthopedics Hospital’), the Smartfish Pro:Motion Ergonomic Keyboard actually analyses how you type and adapts to ensure maximum comfort – making adjustments in height, angle and radial position – thanks to a series of internal motors and, additionally, will even measure your typing speed to dynamically adapt the keyboard to best suit your typing capabilities. Clever stuff.
