SC-ZT1 Wireless Home Theater System From Panasonic

The Panasonic SC-ZT1 is a wireless home theater system that frees you from setting up speaker cables. However, you do need to run power cables for each of the speakers so that they can catch the uncompressed audio sent using the 2.4GHz radio band. The four speakers, referred to as Sound Slim Speakers by Panasonic, have vertically aligned speaker hardware so that one can experience a Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD 7.1 channel surround sound.
The four SC-ZT1 speakers have in-built subwoofers. The subwoofers are hidden at the lower end of each speaker tower and come into play when low-frequency deep bass sound has to be produced. The SC-ZT1 subwoofers ave a diameter of around 5 inches.
The SC-ZT1 home theater system may not be the best choice for those who are looking for good quality sound but it no doubt will look good in your living room. Besides you have the freedom to experiment with individual speakers and place them anywhere in the room withouth having to worry about trailing wires. For a completely wireless audio visual experience you may consider adding the VIERA Z1 TV and a DMP-BD80, BD70V or BD60 Blu-ray Disc player to your SC-ZT1 home theater system.
The SC-ZT1 will be available in Spring, the pricing is yet to be decided.
