Rhapsody Ibiza Players From Haier [Ibiza Mini and Ibiza Touch]

Haier America has added two new models to its Rhapsody line of MP3 players. The Ibiza Mini and Ibiza Touch. Although Mini and Touch are not the most original of names [iPod models with these names exist] the Haier music players are feature-rich and good looking.

The Ibiza Mini is a small-sized yet full-feature player with 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, web downloads on the fly, a 4-way hardware directional pad, and a 2.2-inch color QVGA screen. The Mini measures 3.5″ X 2″ X 0.4″. This portable player comes with 14 hours of music and 4 hours of video. A dedicated volume rocker, a power button, and a Wi-Fi connect key are located at the edges of the player. Audio support includes MP3, AAC, and WMA and video support includes MPEG-4, H.264, VC-1, and DiVX 3/4/5. Storage capacities range from 8GB to 32GB.

The Rhapsody Ibiza Touch offers more or less the same features as the Mini including storage capacities. It’s dimensions are the same as the Ibiza Mini; however it features a 2.8-inch color WQVGA touch screen and a dedicated tactile volume key. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity. As of now there is no information on pricing and the date of launch.
