Mouse Computer LB-F1500 10.2" Netbook

Mouse Computer have taken the wraps off their new LB-F1500 netbook which very much joins the throngs of ‘plain vanilla’ netbooks in terms of specifications thus offering little, if anything, in terms of ‘wow factor’ – Intel Atom N270 processor (check), 10.2” WSVGA LCD display (check) – you get the general idea.
Admittedly, perhaps we’re being unnecessarily harsh here, after all its not as if the LB-F1500 netbook is a poorly specified device (though its hardly cutting edge either) but once you’ve posted about the first few thousand 10.2” Atom N270 netbooks one hopes to find something that at least serves to distinguish a new 10.2″ netbook from the masses – but, alas, to this end the LB-F1500 netbook simply doesn’t deliver.
LB-F1500 Netbook Key Features:
- Intel Atom N270 CPU
- 10.2” WSVGA (1024 x 600 resolution) LCD
- 160GB SATA Hard Disk
- Integrated Wi-Fi and IEEE802.11b/g LAN
- DVD Super Multi Drive
- Intel 950 Graphics
- Built-in Webcam
You get the general idea though, in fairness, the addition of a DVD Super Multi Drive does serve to distinguish the LB-F1500 netbook to some degree but, certainly as far as we are concerned, quite whether that’s something to get particularly excited about is quite another matter.
