The Sony VAIO P Series Lifestyle PC has been designed for women – the fashionistas in particular. It’s keyboard has keys spaced such that it can be comfortably used by women with long nails. Sony, apparently, is tapping a niche that few knew existed and to that end it has designed the P Series Lifestyle PC accordingly.
The PC is shaped like an envelope and has an 8″ screen. It weighs a mere 1.4 pounds and company officials are calling it the lightest netbook in the market. It may be light but it costs a whopping $900 which is a lot for a small portable PC even if happens to be a “Lifestyle PC” as Sony has chosen to call its netbook.

The ultra wide 8″ screen has a high-resolution of 1600×768 which makes viewing web pages easier as compared to other netbooks of similar size. The screen is spreadsheet friendly as well. The P Series comes with a 60 GB hard drive, I GB of RAM, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, a wireless card with support for the high-speed 802.11n network protocol, 3G broadband support, and at the heart of this is the Intel Atom processor. The Sony P Series Lifestyle PC runs the Windows Vista Operating System.
