Alpine iXA-W404 2-DIN Touchscreen Digital Media Receiver

The Alpine iXA-W404 2-DIN touch-screen digital media receiver allows you to romance your iPod / iPhone even when traveling by car. This latest addition to the Alpine line of digital media receivers features a touchscreen. The iXA-W404 has acquired the “Made for iPod” and “Works with iPhone” designations from Apple. The iXA-W404 interface follows the Apple coverflow which makes it easier for iPod / iPhone users to use it.

The 4.3-inch QVGA color touch-screen monitor is highly responsive and offers an alternative means of navigation in addition to the double-encoder knob. The iXA-W404 has a USB input for connecting to your iPod / iPhone and USB memory devices. However the iXA-W404 does not have an optical drive and CD support. You can also play iPod/iPhone video files on the iXA-W404. Integrated Bluetooth connectivity available as an add-on allows for hands-free conversations on your phone. Other add-on modules include HD Radio with iTunes tagging, and satellite radio. The Alpine IMPRINT Audio Processor offers custom sound processing.
