LaCie Hard Disk MAX Dual HDD by Neil Poulton

Those of you who, like us, fell in love with the original LaCie Neil Poulton HDD this dual USB hard drive is based on the moment you set eyes on it (we have no less than three units in the family now) but who are looking for the added protection or just increased capacity in a single unit will no doubt be interested in LaCie’s new Hard Disk Max dual HDD.

The LaCie Hard Disk MAX Dual HDD comes with 2 x 1TB capacity hard drives which can be set up in either RAID 0 or RAID 1 configurations depending on whether you’re looking for maximum storage capacity or maximum data security and is compatible with both Mac and PC setups.
Supplied with LaCie’s Setup Assistant and Backup Assistant software and capable of burst transfer rates up to 30-35MB/s the 2TB LaCie Hard Disk MAX is set to retail for just shy of $270 though, at the time of writing, no specific release date has been provided (but being that the official product page is up, you won’t have long to wait).
