Following on from having just posted about Samsung’s new H Series of camcorders we felt somewhat obliged to note that Canon have also announced a new range of four Full HD Vixia camcorders – namely the Canon Vixia HF S100, HF S10, HF20, & HF200.
Details are somewhat scant at the time of writing, however, what is known is that all four of Cannon’s new Full HD camcorders utilise Cannon’s latest generation DIGIC DVIII processor (offering 32 face detection and a revamped auto exposure system) and capture video at 1920 x 1080 in AVCHD format at the format’s maximum rate of 24fps. Additionally all four camcorders offer Video Snapshot functionality (4 burst capture) and integrated optical image stabilisation.
