Whilst we tend to scoff (in the most part) at Brando’s particular breed of cut price gadgetry it has to be said that, even in terms of aesthetics as well as functionality, the Brando USB Wireless Keypad with Trackball, or Tracking Ball as they term it, actually appears on first inspection to be a fairly decent device.
The Brando USB Wireless Keypad with Trackball, apart from offering wireless connectivity courtesy of 2.4 GHz RF technology and a USB receiver offering up to 10 meters range, comes with a total of 19 keys as well as 13 (we assume programmable – but the product site fails to mention programmability so probably not) hotkeys whilst also boasting a 1000DPI resolution trackball and works with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista operating systems (no Mac compatibility).
Billed as being ideal for ‘travel, school, or any other working environment’ which just about covers all conceivable bases, the Brando USB Wireless Keypad with Trackball has just become available for a not unreasonable $37 and could prove particularly handy for those with laptops/notebooks.
