

Liquid Image has announced several new models in its video recording scuba mask range in the form of the entry level Video Mask 310, and the Scuba Mask HD320 and the Liquid Image Pro HD350, the latter two of which are capable of recording video underwater at 720p HD quality.
The entry level Liquid Image Video Mask 310, which serves to supersede the company’s original award winning Camera Mask is capable of recording 720 x 480 resolution video at depths of up to 33 feet and comes complete with integrated lighting to ensure that subjects are well lit regardless of general lighting conditions and, naturally, comes with inbuilt USB connection as well as an integral Micro SD/SDHC card slot allowing you to supplement its inbuilt 16MB of inbuilt memory.
The middle of the range Scuba Mask HD320, as well as sporting the same memory card slot, comes with an increased 64MD of inbuilt memory and offers 720p HD recording capabilities at 30fps up to a depth of 115ft whilst the top of the range Liquid Image Pro HD350, whilst offering the same integrated memory capacity and the same recording resolution will function in depths up to 330ft.
The Liquid Image Video Mask 310 is set to retail from February for around $160 whilst the Liquid Image Pro HD350 will retail for around $215 in the summer of 09 and the top of the range Liquid Image Pro HD350 will begin shipping in the spring for an as yet undisclosed price point.
