Broan Elite XE 15″ Automatic Trash Compactor

The Broan Elite XE 15″ automatic trash compactor is ideal for homes that generate a disproportionately large amount of garbage. Just kidding, actually this appliance is a nice thing to have in your kitchen for several reasons – one it reduces the chore of having to take the garbage out; second the compacted garbage ensures that landfills do not fill up fast and it’s economical to dispose reduced volumes of garbage.

The compaction is effected by a 3000 lbs force generated by a 3/4th horse-power motor. The 1.55 cubic foot trash bucket holds 30 lbs courtesy a compaction ratio of 6:1. The compacting plate is made of stainless steel and is coated with Microban® antimicrobial protective coating. The 170° reversible hinged door is insulated and has a magnetic gasket to ensure noiseless compacting. A child lock ensures safety for kids. Trash bag storage is integrated with the compactor so that a fresh bag is always within reach. The trash bucket slides out on heavy-duty ball bearing drawer slides.

An advanced odor control system helps eliminate foul odors by chemically neutralizing them rather than just filtering them.
