AOC V22 WLED HD Gamer Certified 22” Display Announced

In a particularly brief press release, AOC have announced their up and coming AOC V22 22” WLED display which is aimed squarely at the HD gaming fraternity and which boasts an impressive 2ms ultra fast ‘industry leading’ response time.

AOC have not been especially forthcoming with their A22 22” HD gaming display’s specifications, but what they have confirms, apart from the 2ms response time, is that the V22 offers a contrast ratio from 12,000:1 to 100,000:1 (make of that what you will), as well as HDMI inputs (note the plural) and, well, that’s about it.

‘AOC’s Gamer Certified series of displays are all designed to offer the fastest response times for eliminating ghostly images and high contrast ratios truly show the detail of today’s HD games,’ said Robert Velez, Marketing Manager for AOC, who introduced the V22 HD display. ‘With our experience as one of the world’s largest display manufacturers AOC is able to take proven technologies and offer them for an affordable price. We believe that gamers should be able to play on displays that allow them to get the full experience when playing HD games as the game designers intended; crisp, clear and blur-free.’

AOC’s V22 22” HD gaming display is pencilled in for an early ’09 release however at this juncture AOC are keeping unit pricing close to their chests (along with just about everything else).
