Fisher and Paykel Tall DishDrawer to Debut in Spring 2009

The DishDrawer, the signature product from Fisher and Paykel has a new avatar in which it gains height and space but looks sleeker. The new “Tall DishDrawer” offers features such as an ergonomic design and efficient use of water, energy, and detergents. It has been designed specifically for the North American consumer market and it is expected to be available from Spring 2009. The DishDrawer was introduced in 1997 and since then has undergone various upgrades; it has sold more than a million pieces. As of yet there is no information on the pricing of Tall DishDrawer.
New features added to the DishDrawer include -
1) Space for 13″ plates in the top drawer.
2) The racking system features a new design with vertially adjustable cup racks and folding tines on the plate racks.
3) Easier installation and a completely new look.
A neat energy-saving feature of the Tall DishDrawer is that you can load it with as little as 1.98 gallons of water in order to run it on half load. In this mode, the Tall Dishdrawer uses only half the amount of energy, water, and detergent as compared to other dishwashers.
