Pentax Limited Edition K2000 White DSLR [K2000 Double Zoom SLR Kit]

It’s been a while since a product has genuinely had us salivating uncontrollably as we stare at the screen but the news that Pentax have announced a limited edition white version of its K2000 DSLR camera complete with a double zoom kit certainly got our attention and we’ve stared so longingly and for so long at the image of the exceedingly beautiful white K2000 that its become burned on our retinas.

The limited edition white K2000 Double Zoom Digital SLR System comprises of a white version of Pentax’s 10.2 megapixel K2000 camera – the standard edition of which was released back in September 08 – paired with white SMC PENTAX DA L 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL and SMC PENTAX DA L 50-200mm F4-5.6 AL lenses and whilst Pentax’s press release details that its limited edition white K2000 Double Zoom Digital SLR System will begin shipping on a ‘very limited basis’ as of February 09 pricing of what is (even in its standard edition) a highly desirable DSLR is yet to be formally announced – but don’t expect it to be cheap.

Pentax detail their K2000 DSLR’s key features as follows:
