Handmade Decorative USB Keyboards

A Splash of Color for Touch Typists

As far as computer keyboards are concerned, we’ve covered many variations here on TFTS but, of them all, there’s no doubting that these handmade decorative USB keyboards from Japan certainly stand out in terms of sheer beauty though if you happen not to be a touch typist (and you find yourself looking at the keyboard as you type) we suspect that these particular keyboards could prove a little taxing.

Interestingly, apart from there distinctive decorative appeal, these handmade USB keyboards are otherwise wholly run of the mill in terms of features in offering just 89 keys (no short cut or media keys here) but there’s no doubt that they’d liven up any desktop with their especially colorful designs.

There’s a total of six separate designs on offer, from the gold Zipang keyboard to the Karakus – both featured above and the latter of which would doubtless prove a nightmare to work with if you, like me, need to look at the keyboard whilst typing (we suspect it could even induce nausea in such situations).

These handmade decorative USB keyboards, which come with both USB and PS/2 connectivity are compatible with PCs only (not Macs, unfortunately) and retail for $172 each.
