Sharp PG-F255W Wide XGA (720p) DLP Projector

Sharp is set to add yet another model to its line up of Wide XGA projectors with the up and coming release of their PG-F255W Wide XGA (720p) DLP Projector which, according to Sharp’s press release, ‘combines vibrant color reproduction, exceptional compatibility, reliability and affordability for an ideal offering for corporate, educational and home/office applications.’
The Sharp PG-F255W offers 1280 x 800 720p resolution at 16:10 aspect ratio, comes with DLP BrilliantColor technology, 2500 ANSI Lumens brightness, 2200:1 contrast ratio and comes with standard analog RGB/component and audio/video input terminals as well as HDCP compliant DVI, RJ-45 LAN, RS-232C and USB ports and is being targeted specifically at business and educational establishments though Sharp also ensure that they cover all bases by stating that its equally ideal for those looking for a non full HD projector for use as part of a home entertainment setup.
Sharp’s PG-F255W Wide XGA (720p) DLP Projector is set to begin shipping sometime this month (a specific date has not been provided) for less than $1,000.
