Do you know what causes this? Also, it does not seem to suck up the water as well as it should, leaving the carpet much more than just damp. Can this be due to a clog? If so, how do I unclog it. Thanks.

When using the Bissell 2x Proheat shampooer, I sometimes hear a popping noise. Do you know what causes this? For some reason it won't allow water to come down from the resevior, I checked the botttom of the resevior and if I push the 'pin' in, it will allow the water to come dow but the 'seat' that it sits in has a 'pin' that does not come up into the resevour. We don't have the reciet so we can't take it back. This is the second one we bought and only used this one twice. Can you help me????
