Do you know what causes this? Also, it does not seem to suck up the water as well as it should, leaving the carpet much more than just damp. Can this be due to a clog? If so, how do I unclog it. For some reason it won't allow water to come down from the resevior, I checked the botttom of the resevior and if I push the 'pin' in, it will allow the water to come dow but the 'seat' that it sits in has a 'pin' that does not come up into the resevour.
