EnergySistem Intro New Touchscreen Energy 4040 Touch, 5020 & 5021 PMPs

EnergySistem has introduced no less than three new PMPs in the form of the 16GB Energy 4040 Touch, the 4GB 5020 Deep Black and the 4GB 5021 Fire Red PMPs, the former of which (Energy 4040 Touch) comes with 2.8” QVGA TFT LCD touchscreen whilst both the 5020 and 5021 comes with standard non-touchscreen displays.

The undoubted star of the show, the steel clad EnergySistem Energy 4040 Touch, apart from sporting the aforementioned 2.8” touchscreen, comes with 16GB of integrated storage capacity as well as support for microSD cards, support for MP3, WMA, WAV, MPEG4, TXT, JPG and BMP file formats with bundled software allowing easy conversion of YouTube, Google Video, DailyMotion and Metacafe videos, an integrated FM tuner, built-in speaker and digital voice recorder for voice memos.

The EnergySistem 5020 and 5021 come with standard QVGA 2.8” TFT LCD screens with 4GB of built-in storage capacity and, whilst offering pretty much the same features as the Energy 4040 Touch, also sports TV output (interestingly not a feature listed for the 4040 Touch) though the difference between the 5020 and 5021 appears to be merely the devices colors (black and red respectively). Both offer direct DivX, XviD, FLV, RM and RMVB support.

The EnergySistem 16GB New Energy 4040 Touch PMP will set you back around $152 whilst both the 4GB 5020 Deep Black and the 4GB 5021 Fire Red PMPs will set you back around $108.
