
A-DATA have announced a new Solid State Drive (SSD) in the form of the A-DATA XPG 2.5” SSD which apart from offering up to 192Gb capacity and SATA II connectivity also boasts a mini-USB 2.0 port allowing the drive to be used both inside and outside your PC (and hence lending A-DATA’s new SSD the added bonus of mobility).

Details are rather scant at the time of writing, however, whilst A-DATA have not released information concerning either pricing or availability information they have, at least, offered an insight as to the new SSD’s specifications:
A-DATA SATA II XPG 2.5” SSD Key Features:
- Performance: Read up to 170MB/s, write up to 100 MB/s
- Interface: SATA I/II and mini-USB 2.0 port
- Operating Temp.: -10°C~70°C
- Shock Resistance: 1500G/0.5ms

- Capacity: 32GB/64GB/128GB/192GB
