Portable speakers, come and go, but these xPod Active Sound Speakers manage to redefine the term ‘portable’ with their particularly pocket-friendly design and, whilst the sound quality will doubtless be scoffed at by audiophiles there’s no doubt that if you’re looking for a highly compact speaker solution for you iPod or other DAP, your PMP or cell phone (et al) these xPod Active Sound Speakers would fit the bill rather nicely.

Measuring in at a mere 78 x 34×8.4mm, these xPod Active Sound Speakers come with built in battery unit (rechargeable via a mini UBB port) so, unlike many portable speaker solutions, will not drain the power of your audio device during operation but, unfortunately, you’ll have to be in Korea to get your hands on them, where they retail for around the equivalent of $17.
