AT&T Offers 3G Samsung 'A867' Eternity Touchscreen TV Cell Phone

After a great deal of speculation, at last AT&T are now stocking Samsung’s much praised A867 Eternity, which, apart from sporting a haptic feedback 3.2” 240×400 262K color full touchscreen display, also comes with integrated Mobile TV functionality thanks to the inbuilt MediaFLO tuner allowing users to watch live digital TV broadcasts on the Eternity courtesy of AT&T’s own subscription service.
For those unfamiliar with Samsung’s Eternity, apart from touchscreen and Mobile TV the handset comes with a 3 megapixel camera, built-in media player supporting MP3, AAC, Real, WAV and WMA file format support, a full HTLM web browser, GPS, 8GB expandable memory storage (microSD), stereo Bluetooth and a talktime of up to 5 hours with standby endurance coming in at up to 10 days. Interestingly, however, rather than opt for a standard ‘smartphone’ OS Samsung’s Eternity relies, instead, on Samsung’s TouchWi interface (thus edging the Eternity away from being a true smartphone).
AT&T are offering the Samsung Eternity at $150 based on a two year contract or, for those looking to pay monthly, for around $370.
