SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player Updated to 8GB Capacity

SanDisk have announced that their Sansa Clip DAP/MP3 player will now be made available in a revised version offering no less than double the storage capacity (8GB to be specific) than offered previously in the top capacity models in the SanDisk Sansa Clip line-up.
Apart from the revised/updated integrated storage capacity, however, those who favour the Sansa Clip will be glad to know that the new model – which will be available only in black – from a functionality perspective remains unchanged. Of course, if you were less than enamoured with the Sansa Clip in the first place this new model may well not suffice to change your mind and pull your hard earned cash in SanDisk’s direction.
The black only 8GB SanDisk Sansa Clip DAP will will set you back around a not unreasonable $100 which, incidentally, as our friends at Slippery Brick correctly point out, means you get four times the capacity offered by the iPod Shuffle (viewed as the Clip’s primary competitor) for a mere $30 premium.
