JVC Set To Release ‘World’s First’ 3D Projection Unit

JVC have announced that they are poised to release the ‘world’s first’ 3D projector in the form of the JVC DLA-RS2 3D which not only offers a 3D viewing experience but will deliver it in glorious 1080p HD.

Details concerning JVC’s DLA-RS2 up and coming 3D projector, which is intended to serve as part of a home cinema system, are understandably spare at this juncture but, of the few details released, JVC have confirmed that the DLA-RS2 3D projector, which utilises a second generation Sensio 3D processor, will offer 1920×1080 native resolution, 30,000:1 contrast ratio and, along with supporting 3D encoded content, will also play ball with standard, non-3D content.

JVC have stated that their DLA-RS2 3D projector is expected to ship as of next year though, at the time of writing, have not furnished pricing details.
