Nokia N5130 XpressMusic Cell Phone Officially Announced

Nokia have unveiled the latest handset in their XpressMusic range of cell phones, the candybar Nokia N5130 XpressMusic, which is very much an entry level phone offering the familiar music player functionality, complete with dedicated media controls, as other devices in the XpressMusic range but offering little in the way of notable pizzazz – all for a rock bottom price.
Highlights (though perhaps this is to strong a word) include a 2 megapixel camera boasting support for Share on Ovi allowing you to share your low quality imagery with others as well as send email (via Mail on Ovi) without the need a PC, 3.5mm audio output for headphones and a microSD memory card slot offering bolt on storage capacity.
Billed officially by Nokia as their ‘most affordable music phone to date’ regardless of our sarcasm we don’t doubt for a second that the N5130 XpressMusic will positively fly off the shelves when you consider that it’ll carry a price tag of a mere €50 (circa $115) exclusive of subsidies when begins shipping as of Q1 next year.
