AOpen XC MP45-BDR Mini/Media PC Sports Integrated Blu-ray DVD Combo Drive

AOpen’s new, special edition XC MP45-BDR Mini PC, which has been built to serve very much as a mini media PC and which, apart from built around Intel’s Montevina platform, comes complete with an integrated Blu-ray/DVD combo drive has now become available.

Supporting Intels’ Core 2 Duo (Penryn) processor, the AOpen XC MP45-BDR offers support for up to 4GB of dual channel 667/800MHz SO-DIMM DDR-II RAM, comes with integrated GMAX4500MHD graphics (sported full SX10 compatibility) and, as you’d expect from a media PC, offers HDCP Full 1080p HD support complete with 5.1 channel surround sound whilst coming bundled with a media center remote.

Supplied with no less than 6 USB 2.0 ports and available as a limited edition only – though we are unable to ascertain its production run, AOpen’s XC MP45-BDR Mini/Media PC, which runs the Vista Premium OS, retails for around the $500 price point.
