Lenovo have released two new models in its Lenovo ThinkCentre desktop PC range – the ThinkCentre M58 and the ThinkCentre M58p – which Lenovo are billing as their “greenest, most secure and most manageable ThinkCentre desktop PC yet”.
The new M58/M58p ThinkCentre desktop PCs come with a range of processor options – including Intel E8000-series Core 2 Duo and Q9000-series Core 2 Quad CPUs – and are available in three separate form factor configurations, either tower, small form factor and ultra small form factor, and come inclusive of Lenovo’s ThinkVantage technology which “allows PC users to control their electricity consumption remotely” as well as Hardware Password Manager support allowing users to configure BIOS, HDD and other supervisory passwords at hardware level (as opposed to the more usual software level).
Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M58 retails from $500 (base model) whilst the ThinkCentre M58p will start from around the $900 price point with both being offered in Tower and Small Form Factor configurations now with the Eco Ultra Small Form Factor option coming sometime in December.
