sandisk sansa fuze dap

As particular fans of the much under supported (and underrated) OGG file format, we have to congratulate SanDisk for including support for OGG, as well as FLAC, in their latest firmware update for their Sansa Fuze DAP (namely firmware version 1.01.15) which is now available for free (if this was Apple, you’d more than probably be asked to pay, of course) via the Sansa Firmware Updater.

For those of you who own SanDisk’s Sansa Fuze DAP, here’s a rundown of what Firmware Update 1.01.15 has to offer:

Miscellaneous

  • Recording Option menu doesn’t exist in Voice and FM Recording list view

Known Issues:

  • Selecting playback speed to “Fast” while playing 128kbps podcasts and audiobooks causes audio to lag when backlight turns off
