So there seem to be a lot of globes swirling around the net these days and today I found this cute one that acts as a docking station for iPod and I quite like its spherical appearance.

The Globe Speaker System For iPod with Clock Radio is neat in that it docks your iPod for playing and charging and will accommodate iPod Video, iPod Photo, iPod Nano, iPod Mini and 4th generation iPods and although it wont charge your 3rd generation iPod, you can definitely play it through this system.

The dual alarm system ensures that you wake up to a choice of iPod, radio or buzzer (I’m thinking the buzzer for me seeing as though all music is relaxing to me!)

The built-in radio is AM and FM enabled and luckily for those of you who hate tuning, it comes with the ability to pre-set your favourite stations!

And just in case your iPod wasn’t enough, the AUX input allows you to plug you Mp3, digital audio and personal CD player into the unit for even more playing power.

The nice thing (other than the price of $39.92) is that although it runs off AC power it also has battery back up which means you can still rock out when the lights go out! So there’s non stop fun with this item (or at least till the battery dies!)
