Being a band manager, I’m often caught offguard by my bands telling me about their new masterpieces (which I never seem to get to get to hear) … mainly because half of these MASTERPIECES get lost to a few drinks in the jam room. The BackTrack is a simple recorder that any musician can afford. This little gizmo plugs into your quarter inch cord of the guitar and away you go!
The device works in such a way that it is continually on while you play but when you want to “bookmark” a piece you particularly like, then all you have to do is hit the “Mark” button for when you download to your pc via USB.

The nitty gritty is that this gadget records audio at 24 bit in 48KHz WAV files. It comes with a standard 1GB memory which should enable you to record up to 12 hours on non stop music. The battery is also impressive and will last up to 12 hours too, depending of course, on your settings.
