Tokyoflash have just released the latest distinctive wrist watch in its ongoing quest to bring us some of the most novel digital watches out there – namely the Tokyoflash LCD/LED Negative watch. The Negative watch comes with a negative LCD display paired with multi colour LED based backlighting offering the end user a choice of seven selectable colours which Tokyoflash bill as being ‘most impressive at night’.

The Negative wrist watch can display the time either horizontally or vertically, depending on your tastes, and, should you really wish to draw attention to yourself, even comes with a multi colour mode ‘sending all LED colors into a frenzy when the backlight is activated’ – which we suspect actually looks totally uncool (and particularly garish) in practise but each to their own.

The watch offers both a time (12/24hr display) and date function, comes with daily and date based alarms and has just been made available for ¥16,900 – which equates to around $162/£90/€114 at the time of writing.
