Sony has taken the wraps off its new, up and coming iPod and iPhone docking station, the Sony ICF-CD3iP, which not only comes with a somewhat striking design but offers docking station functionality fused with an alarm clock, radio tuner and CD player capable of reading MP3 file format from both CD-R and CD-RW optical discs.
Purportedly already available for pre-order via a number of Australian online retailers, Sony’s ICF-CD3iP iPod & iPhone CD/Radio Docking Station Alarm Clock comes complete with a line-in port allowing other DAPs to be hooked up if required as a remote, allowing you to control the ICF-CD3iP’s radio, CD and either your iPod or iPhone – depending on which is currently docked – and, naturally, as well as offering playback from you iPod/iPhone the ICF-CD3iP will, of course, serve to charge your device whilst its docked.
Sony’s ICF-CD3iP iPod & iPhone CD/Radio Docking Station Alarm Clock is set to retail from October for around $100.
