When I was young all it took to keep me entertained was a box of Lego or a video (yes, we’re talking VHS here) of Barbarella – which I never seemed to get board of, for so many reasons – but kids these days are rather more switched onto technology so it makes complete sense to see items like this children’s camcorder, namely this Digital Concepts Crayola Digital Camcorder, put in an appearance.
Produced by Saker, the kid-proof Digital Concepts Crayola Digital Camcorder boasts a 1.5” TFT flip out display, a built in microphone and an SD memory card slot allowing your children to become mini Spielbergs though the products specifications omit details such as the resolution of video capture or frame per second capabilities. But who needs to mull over such trifling details when you consider that the Digital Concepts Crayola Digital Camcorder comes complete with a series of (suitably amusing, we assume) sound effects as well as photo editing and story maker software.
Personally, if I were still a kid, I’d rather keep my Lego and copy of Barbarella and pull a few tantrums whilst I held out for a Flip, but perhaps that’s just me.
The Digital Concepts Crayola Digital Camcorder retails for around $55.
