Ice Ice Baby! Naturally - Using The Solar Powered Icemaker!

It’s my green clean thinking machine for the week! Think of the hottest day, lazing by the pool, drink in hand … what is more important than that drink? You guessed it – ICE! The Solar Icemaker can make your dreams come true by pounding you with 14 lbs of ice per day!!!
Ok, so I know you don’t need that amount of ice (unless you plan on becoming England or America’s first Inuit {Eskimo for those who aren’t sure}) but this new invention will help decrease our carbon footprints by utilising the natural ambient sunlight to create ice … rather than use electricity and energy that can be utilised elsewhere!
You may be thinking that this might be quite difficult to operate, but we’re here to ensure you understand just how easy it will be to use. The Solar Icemaker uses a type of refrigerant liquid that evaporates when exposed to sunlight. Vapour (by-product) travels through the pipes that form part of the unit and eventually come into contact with an absorbent material. This will then drastically cool down as the sun sets. Once the slow-cooling absorbent hits 104°F, the refrigerant turns back into a liquid and its temperature drops dramatically! For those science geeks out there, you’ll know it’s due to differential pressure rates.
All in all … due to this dramatic cooling, you will land up with loads of wondrous ice, ready to use in drinks, fridges, ice-rinks … you name the icy exterior or product, and you got it!!!
