So China King may have been humiliated for creating a “cheap” rip-off of the iPhone but they’ve ensure it comes packed with a very big surprise. Let’s just say they have symbolically given us the finger by winning the projector phone race with their new Epoq EGP-PP01 projector phone.
Although many will be unhappy with this release, we here would like to congratulate the company on getting it done (now we wait for the “testing phase”).
The Epoq EGP-PP01 projector phone is the world’s first commercially available handset which will allow you the ability to project approximately 2 hours worth of footage (30-inch VGA image) onto your wall of choice; whether it be at the office impressing your boss, or down at the local, taking the Mickey out of one of your mates.
Despite the Epoq EGP-PP01 projector phone being a rip-off of the iPhone, we’re still rather impressed that it is capable of displaying images with a maximum resolution of up to 640 x 480. The Epoq EGP-PP01 projector phone can also be hooked up to a DVD player in order to utilise it for playing movies and presentations. So, despite its lack in originality, we have to give it props where they are due.
Now it’s up to you whether you want to be the guinea pig and be the first to “sample” this neat little rip-off … or are you the type who feels that “all good things come to those who wait?” Either way, I have a sneaking suspicion that this new feature will soon be a regular in all future phones to come.
