Soundmatters foxL & foxLmb Pocket Monitor Portable Speakers [Big Sound, Highly Portable Speaker System]

Soundmatters have announced their new, highly portable Soundmatters foxL and foxLmb Pocket Monitor surround sound speaker units, the latter of which, in being the flagship model, comes complete with Bluetooth connectivity allowing it to be hooked up wirelessly to devices such as laptops, notebooks and Bluetooth enabled cell phones.

Billed as sounding ‘insanely great’, both the  Soundmatters foxL and foxLmb Pocket Monitor units boast two front-firing ‘Linear Magnetic Drive Twoofers’ paired with a rear-firing passive bass radiator that promises, unlike many speaker units of comparable size, to do justice to lower frequencies as well as coming with a swing-out desktop stand and whilst we doubt that those looking for truly discerning sound reproduction will look twice at these new Soundmatters portable speakers there’s no doubt that the majority of us will welcome a highly portable speaker that would appear at least to do some justice to our playlists and soundcards.

Both the Soundmatters foxL and foxLmb (Bluetooth) Pocket Monitors are due to begin shipping from September and will retail for $199 and $299 respectively.
