BenQ have unveiled two new monitors in its G-Series of displays in the form of the 22” G2200WT and the 24” G2400WT both of which feature pivoting displays – allowing easy transitions between landscape and portrait modes – and offering 2,500:1 and 4,000:1 contrast ratios respectively.

Offering 1680 x 1050 (G2200WT) and 1920 x 1200 (G2400WT) resolutions and, at the time of writing, announced specifically for the UK market, both monitors feature DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) and Senseye+Photo Image technology which ‘sharpens images, eliminates jaggies and corrects blurs, giving you the best viewing quality via four pre-set modes fitting to your everyday needs’ and offer both DVI and VGA inputs with the G2400WT also sporting HDMI.
Due to become available imminently, BenQ’s 22” G2200WT will retail for around £180 whilst the 24” G2400WT will set you back £318 (which equates to around $336 and $594 respectively).
