Victoria Canopy Bar Kit – Build Your Own Mini Victorian Bar/Pub In Your Front Room

I can think of nothing better than devoting part of our front room to becoming a mini, self contained Victorian bar complete with a cut glass mirror, panelled ceiling and hand carved detail but, alas, my wife has put her foot down so we won’t be getting one any time soon – which is a shame, because running my own pub inside my own home whilst serving myself drinks really rather appeals.

The Victoria Canopy Bar comes in kit form and is crafted from solid mahogany available in a range of finishes (namely Deep Red, Natural, Light, Medium and Dark) and, when put together, measures in at 2190x2020x1610mm (meaning that, as you can see from the above image, you’ll have a complete, self contained mini-pub in your front room).

Of course, you’ll have to take care of plumbing in any pumps you require (it would be Carling and Guinness on tap for us) so you’ll have to factor that in with the cost of the Victoria Canopy Bar itself which alone will set you back a wallet-thumping £5256 (approximately $9815/€6665 at the time of writing) – which, somewhat ironically, probably means you can’t afford to purchase the necessary beer and spirits to stock the bloody thing once you’ve constructed it, but who said life was fair?
